Frisco, Texas is on the rise as one of the fastest growing cities in the US due to its outstanding location just minutes from the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex. The town is located in the booming "Golden Corridor" along the newly extended Dallas North Tollway.
Frisco straddles Collin and Denton counties, and offers prime real estate on the east and west side of the North Dallas Tollway. It is bordered by the City of Little Elm to the west (Lake Lewisville), Plano to the east which is close to the Northern tip of Dallas. It takes roughly 25 minutes to reach downtown from Frisco, TX.
The City of Frisco has kept up with the population explosion by building new venues for entertainment, shopping and dining. Residents of this exciting city don't have to venture far to find sporting events at the Dr. Pepper Center and Rough Riders Stadium or shopping at Stonebriar Mall. Restuarants and retail outlets are cropping up as fast as they can be built, making Frisco Texas a great place to live!
Frisco Texas Real Estate
You can find Frisco Real Estate for just about every need from the Townhomes of the Bella Casa neighborhood off the Tollway by DR Horton to the new homes in Grayhawk, to the existing homes in The Trails of West Frisco, there is no end to the home and custom homes you'll find.
Frisco also has a number of golf courses and luxury estates by customer builders such as Huntington Homes, Highland and Sotherby. Luxury homes with such features as fireplaces and swimming pools are available in subdivisions such as Stonebriar Creek, Starwood, and the Villages of Stonebriar Park.
Although the majority of housing options are single-family homes, there are some condos and townhouses available starting in the mid-$100,000s. Because of the explosive growth in Frisco, land and lots for custom home builds are available, but they are going fast. Frisco is loaded with new home neighborhoods and local home builders such as Mercedes Homes and David Weekley. Popular neighborhoods in Frisco include: Chapel Creek, Heather Ridge, Heritage Green, Cypress Creek, Pearson Farms, Shaddo9ck Reek Estates, Starwood, Stonebriar and the Trails of West Frisco.
Frisco Entertainment
Frisco is quickly becoming “the place to be” on the weekends with the following options for shopping, concerts, shows and sporting events:
· Dr. Pepper 7/Up Ballpark
· Pizza Hut Soccer Park
· Dr. Pepper Star Center (Hockey Stadium)
· Stonebriar Center (Shopping Mall)
· Westin Stonebriar Resort
Frisco Schools
Frisco Texas Schools are great because of the low teacher-student ratio. It's as much of a privilege to teach in Frisco as it is to be a student here. Frisco ISD is considered to be among the fastest growing school districts growing by 20 to 30% annually for the past eight years. In 1995 Frisco had just four schools, today we have 29 new schools in development with 18 of those schools currently functioning. Frisco continues to raise the standardized test score averages of its students, which are well above state and national averages.
FISD takes security seriously with a number of safety/security systems in place or underway. The security measures implemented for the schools include high resolution cameras in highly traffic areas, security on campus and controlled access.
The sizes of the schools in Frisco are intentionally smaller than the national average. Elementary schools are built to educate 700 students, middle schools serve 800 to 1,000 and highschools serve just 1500 to 1800 students.
The reason for Frisco's commitment to smaller teacher/student ratio is to allow teachers and students to form better relationships and to serve the children's need to be involved in extracurricular activies.

Personal Trainer in Frisco is waiting for you to get help with your fitness program. You live in a Frisco apartment, but don't have anywhere to workout? Now you do....
When times are good in the Housing Market, properties sell like the proverbial hot cakes. But when the market stalls or prices begin to dip many sellers find their properties ‘Stuck’: Estate Agents report little or no interest and when offers do come in they are invariably unacceptably low.
Do Frisco Apartments Hire Personal Trainers?
What can homeowners do? The agents can arrange more viewings, but if those potential purchasers don’t see what they want, they’ll be looking to see the next property on the list – or making a derisory offer. It is this climate that has seen the rise of the ‘professional property presenter’ or ‘Home Stager’.
These services are riding on the back of the successful channel 5 series 'House Doctor' presented by Californian Real Estate Agent and Interior Designer Ann Maurice.
In the show each week Ann Maurice, The House Doctor, visits a hard to sell property and carries out the essential changes that make it more saleable.
A company that has set up to offer homeowners, who can't sell their properties, a similar service is The Property Coach run by Brian Cotsen.
“Buyers are buying a dream” says Brian. “They’re busy people, who want to walk in (to a property) make a decision and walk out. If they can’t see beyond the owners personal taste the home owner could lose a sale.”
Brian not only offers his services to homeowners, not lucky enough to get a TV makeover, but he runs a website full of ideas and advice that can help anyone to get more from their home whether they are buying, selling or just living in it.
“Sometimes it can be a bit of a shock to be told what buyers think when they view your home, but would never dream of saying out loud” Brian is direct but friendly and isn’t out to shock, like so many TV shows aspire to do. “I am on the home owners side, however buyers don’t need a second excuse to offer a lower price” Brian explains. “They see all the unfinished DIY or the lack of storage and they notice anything off-putting like smells, mould, dirt and out-of-date-fittings”
Employing a property presenter or ‘Home Stager’ to cast an eye over a property will soon let the homeowner know if they’ve got work to do. Home Stagers prepare a report with a list of tasks to be carried out and, if the homeowner doesn't have the time, or the inclination to carry out the work, a property presenter can manage the whole process for them.
So does that property
need a personal trainer? If it does, time to call in a professional Home Stager to give it a good workout.

How to Spot Reduce and Burn ONLY the Fat Off Your Stomach...

After having a chance to work at the
Frisco Athletic Center, I'll share with you my top-secret technique for
burning body fat the fat off your stomach. This is spot-reducing at its best...you can even apply this technique to ANY other specific areas you want to tone up!
Yep, it's exciting and I know you're curious so I'll get right into it!
To perform this technique, you're going to need a roll of duct tape, 3 double cheeseburgers, a set of jumper cables and a housecat...
Ok, you're going to hate me for this...
The truth is there IS no top-secret technique for spot reducing and
burning body fat only from your stomach. I made that headline up in hopes that you would at least read far enough into this article to learn the TRUTH about how your body burns fat and WHERE it
burns fat from (and I'll try to keep it entertaining so you actually want to read the whole thing :) ).
You might be thinking to your self, why are you writing about the Frisco Athletic Center, if you do not work there? Because most people would prefer to have a trainer that is qualified to help them and they do not feel comfortable hiring that has only a year or two of fitness experience. They want to pay for a well qualified seasoned
fitness trainer.
And honestly, this type of question is one of THE most frequently asked questions I've gotten in all the years I've been answering questions online...
"How do I burn body fat from just my stomach?"
Bottom line is, you can't. And even those stupid creams and lotions won't do it (one of these days I swear I'm going to get one of those creams and put it only on the left side of my abs and not the right and see what happens...I'm sure I'll have a ripped 3 pack within days).
Frisco Burning Body Fat Continued
To burn more body fat from any one specific place in your body, you're going to have to lose it from EVERYWHERE ELSE, too. There's really no getting around it.
I like to use the analogy of a swimming pool (I "borrowed" this one from fat-loss guru Tom Venuto)...
When you're filling up a swimming pool (the pool is your total amount of body fat), the deep end fills up first, right? Then the shallow end fills up as the water level rises.
Generally speaking, the deep end can be compared to the areas where you put on fat FIRST. The shallow end is where you put on fat LAST.
When you go to begin burning more body fat, look at the swimming pool again...when you drain the swimming pool, you can't drain water from just the deep end! It drains from the whole pool at once...the shallow end shows it first, THEN the deep end last.
So basically (and fairly depressingly!), the fat you want to get rid of FIRST is the fat that's going to come off pretty much LAST. To burn just stomach fat (or thigh fat or back fat), you'd have to figure out a way to defeat the entire system your body uses to store fat.
Sticking a vacuum into your belly with surgery is one way to do it - taking useless pills like Acai Berry definitely WON'T do it, no matter how many "simple rules" you follow (in that case, the simple rule is "give us all your money so you can't afford food anymore" - I guess that one actually WILL work).
And that's not even all your options for burning body fat from the stomach...
1. Starvation dieting - this is THE best way to lose weight...of course, it'll be mostly muscle, which will send your metabolism into a nosedive, which will make it harder to continue to lose weight, which will make it easier to REGAIN weight, which will keep that lovely stomach fat firmly where you left it, even though the precious scale shows a smaller number...oops, somebody changed the calibration on it...you actually weigh more now...never mind.
2. Diet pills - pretty much all of these will work for you, especially the ones that say you can eat anything you want and still lose weight (just make sure you're never more than 15 feet from a bathroom). You know the manufacturers are only interested in your success and well-being, after all! And don't forget, the heart is a muscle and the faster it goes, the more calories you burn, right! Who wouldn't want to have their heart-rate up in the "training zone" while they're sleeping...talk about efficiency!
3. High Impact Aerobics For Beginners - the good news is, soft tissue injuries require a LOT of calories to heal up, so bust out those Step Tae Bosu Dance tapes and go nuts!
Okay, let's move on to some of the more "radical, unproven" stuff ;)...
1. Eating natural, wholesome foods - what a crock! The only thing anybody has ever lost from eating this garbage is fat. Oh wait... Not a good burning fat recipe
2. Weight training - even more useless than good nutrition, weight training is something to stay away from. All it will do is build muscle, burn fat and increase your metabolism. Total B.S. Same with interval training...it's the worst.
3. Supplementing with multivitamins, minerals, fish oil and protein - I know...I can't make this stuff up! Some people actually USE these things to support their nutrition while eating natural foods and training with weights for fat loss. I guess their quack doctors wouldn't write out a prescription for Orlistat or Xenical or Gottapoopital.
So bottom line, fat loss isn't rocket science...just don't eat anything, take a lot of pills and thrash around for hours on end until you hurt yourself.

Last week I asked a worl class athlete for an interview and she said yes. She is the youngest professional
fitness competitor Victoria Larvie. This young athlete is proven herself to be on of the best the sport has to offer for female fitness models and competitors around the world.
How did you get started in fitness and exercise?
I didn't start working out in a gym until i was 15 or 16 but I was a gymnast since the age of 3 so being in a gym just came naturally to me. It is a second home.
-resized-600.bmp)
How much do you workout per week? Cardio? Weights?
I workout with weights 3 days a week.; I do a little
cardio everyday but tuesday and thursdays (the days I dont do weights) I still do cardio and I do more than I would on the other days I try to get up to an hour.
How many calories do you consume off season?
I honestly don't count my calories I try to keep eating healthy but I do have my cheat days
How many when you get ready for your fitness shows?
Luckily I have a nutrionist that makes my meal plans for me so I don't have to worry about the number.
Would you recommend that more young females get started in the fitness competitions?
Yes Definitly. I would love to see alot more young people in the Fitness world I think it is an AMAZING opportunity, keeps you in shape, and keeps a good head on your shoulders.
What is your favorite cheat food?
Sushi and Chocolate
What is your off season weight? Your Fitness Show ready weight?
off season is about 115-120
on season about 110-112
What does it feel like being the youngest female professional fitness competitor and how has it changed your life?
It is definitly an honor as it was my main goal. I dont think it has changed my life that much I still go day by day the same way I did before now I just have even more of a drive to accomplish even more in the fitness world.
If you had to do it all over again, what would you different?
I honestly don't think I would do anything different I have loved every minute of what I have done and have no regrets.
Thanks for the interview Victoria. We hope to hear from you very soon,. Feel free to comment on this post or ask Victoria any questions.

There are certain things about
fat loss in Frisco that people have been taught to believe as fact which are, in reality, dead wrong. Even myself, until very recently, believed many of these to be facts that were set in stone.
Not anymore.
As a word of caution, some of these 7
fat loss myths that I'm going to tell you about may go against everything you've been taught to believe about fat loss in Frisco. However, sometimes going against convention is exactly what you need to do to get spectacular results!
Let's begin our fat loss tips
------------------
Fat Loss MYTH #1: Successfully losing fat always means losing some muscle mass as well.
Fat Loss FACT: It is possible to actually GAIN muscle while losing fat, not just in beginners but even in advanced trainers. All it takes is the right program of training and nutrition.
------------------
Fat Loss MYTH #2: Gaining muscle requires additional calories from food, therefore it's impossible to gain muscle under reduced-calorie conditions.
Fat Loss FACT: Under the right dietary and training conditions, your body can actually use your own bodyfat to provide energy for building muscle, practically doubling the speed of fat loss.
------------------
Fat Loss MYTH #3: You must choose a consistently-strict diet of either low-carb or low-fat foods to lose fat rapidly.
FACT: Low-carb diets work. Low-fat diets work. But neither works forever. You can take the best features of both and combine them to actually FEED off each other with NO plateaus EVER.
------------------
Fat Loss MYTH #4: To lose fat with weight training, you must use high-reps with light weights.
FACT: Training with high reps and isolation exercises for fat loss is a waste of time and energy. It will practically guarantee that you lose muscle.
------------------
Fat Loss MYTH #5: You need to take fat-burning pills or supplements to
maximize fat loss.
FACT: Your own natural metabolism is FAR more powerful for burning fat than any fat-loss pills or potions you could ever take IF you know how to stimulate it properly.
------------------
Fat Loss MYTH #6: Gradually reducing your caloric intake over time is the best way to ensure steady fat loss.
FACT: Consistently reducing your caloric intake is a great way to lose muscle mass. However, precise manipulation of the nutrients in your diet (protein, fat and carbs) can have extraordinary anabolic (muscle-building) and lipolytic (fat-burning) hormonal effects on your body. It's all a matter of what you eat and when you eat it.
------------------
Fat Loss MYTH #7: When you come off a fat-loss diet, there will always be some rebound weight gain.
FACT: When the metabolism is properly stimulated and the right combination of nutrients is eaten, rebound weight gain can not only be eliminated, it can be reversed. With the proper training and nutrition plan, you can actually CONTINUE to lose fat even when you go back to normal training and eating.
------------------
More Interesting Frisco Fat Loss Facts
Sound interesting? I thought so. When I read about a fat-loss program that shattered many of what I previously thought were "facts" and turned them into myths, it was a real eye-opener for me, too!

You see, over my many years of training, I had never once found a fat-loss program that allowed me to even keep, much less GAIN muscle while dieting. I ALWAYS ended up smaller, weaker and depressed from having lost so much of my hard-earned muscle (sound familiar to you?).
Sure, I lost some fat, but I had to go right back to higher-calorie eating in order to regain the muscle that I lost. This left me right back at square one - I had more more muscle again but I still had more fat as well.

Bodybuilding Products That SHOULD Be Invented
By Nick Nilsson

Maybe one day a
Fitness Trainer will fill in these "important" gaps in the bodybuilding product world. Enjoy a humorous look at products that will probably never grace any store shelves but really should.
If you've been training with a
fitness trainer for any length of time, you know there are certain shortcomings in the products that are available at the moment. The following is a list of products that I think someone someone should invent. I think a person could make a million dollars with these ideas!
1. The Fitness Trainer Gasless Protein Shake
If you're familiar with the gastric rumblings that occur soon after taking a big protein shake, you know how popular this item would be. It will also keep those pesky Environmental Protection Agency people off your back with their "industrial emissions violation" warnings.
2. The Fitness Trainer Bench Press Air Bag Shirt
For the bouncing bencher...helps prevent rib crackage. The air bag inflates automatically when it detects terminal velocity on the bar.
3. The Fitness Trainer Sweat Alarm
Most useful in a commercial gym, simply attach one of these to each machine. When the electrodes detect sweat left on a machine after a person is done and that person starts to walk away, a loud alarm goes off and pepper sprays them.
4. The Fitness Trainer Self-Cleaning Spit Mirror
This mirror is most useful in front of the squat rack. When a set is done, sensors determine the amount of spit that has appeared on the mirror then sends a squirt of cleaner and a squeegee down the surface.
5. The Fitness Trainer Lister-prot-ine
A combination of Listerine mouth wash and protein powder, this supplement leaves your mouthy minty fresh instead of tasting like nasty rotten milk. Your friends and loved ones will thank you for it!
6. The Smart-A** Weight Belt For The Dumb-A** Fitness Trainer With Optional Shock Attachment
Simply put on this belt and sensors with pre-recorded messages tell you in no uncertain terms when you're doing something stupid that you're going to hurt yourself with. The optional shock attachment works like the invisible fence shock collar you put on a dog to keep in in the yard. When you break form, the belt tells you what it thinks of you then sends a sharp shock up your spine. You'll never round your back over when doing squats again!
7. The Timer-Spray Fountain With Backwash Detector
Tired of people taking way too long at the water fountain when there's a line? Tired of people backwashing into it? Fix that with the Timer-Spray Fountain with Backwash Detector. If a person takes too long or if the fountain detects backwash, a spray of water shoots out at the person to make it look like they wet their pants. Curbs annoying behavior very rapidly!
8. The Over Fragranced/B.O. Bio-hazard Shower
This
fitness training machine operates much like a metal detector/electronic sniffer. As people leave the changeroom, the machine determines whether they're wearing too much cologne or perfume, if they've got rampant B.O. (or Beyond B.O.), or some eye-watering combination of both. Powerful jets of water immediately rinse the excess aroma away.
9. The Fitness Trainer Barbell Curl Rack
This unique rack gives the barbell curlers an option instead of hogging the squat rack. Because it's just too hard to pick up that dang heavy bar all the way from the floor...
10. The Fitness Trainer Ego Alert Siren
This clip-on attachment for barbells (most useful in the bench press) automatically detects the speed of the bar on the way down. If the downward velocity exceeds a certain pre-set limit, the Ego Alert automatically goes off, alerting everyone in the immediate 10 square mile radius that you're trying to use more weight than you should be. Also available: optional laugh track to discourage further Alerts.
11. Chicken Leg Filler Pants
Designed for those sporting the always trendy "riding-a-chicken" look, these pants for the "
upper-body-only" fitness trainer are stuffed with high-density foam padding to make your legs look proportioned to the rest of your body. Great for fending off attack dogs, too.
12. The Fitness Trainers GPS Workout Enforcer
This gadget utilizes Global Positioning satellites and beacons attached to the equipment in your fitness studio to track your location in the fitness studio and remind you when you've been neglecting certain tiny, little nuisance bodyparts such as your entire lower body.
---
If you do happen to take any of the ideas and run with them, you're certainly welcome to share the proceeds!
