This is a cut-throat business with thousands of gorgeous, hard bodies all competing for few jobs. What makes you so special and sets you apart from all the other beautiful faces?
Let me ask you a few questions of the top of my head:
1. Are you tough?
2. Have you a desire to succeed?
3. Does the camera love you?
4. Can you keep in good shape?
5. Are you prepared to educate yourself?
6. Can you act in a professional manner?
These are just some of the many questions you should ask yourself. Before you even decide the type of fitness model to want to become. And they all should be answered with a big YES.
1. Are you tough? Because there are thousands of women, and men, who would love to be fitness models just, like you do. The competition among fitness models to put it mildly is tough.
2. Have you a desire to succeed? Well, only you know that. If you haven't a burning desire to succeed you won't, it's as simple as that. As the saying goes, "Success waits for no man", or woman. You have to go and get it.
3. Does the camera love you? The camera either loves you or it doesn't. If it doesn't it's down to you to keep working with different photographers until you find one that photographs you well.
4. Can you keep in good shape? Being a fitness model means you have to stay in good shape all the year round because you will miss photo opportunities if you don't.
5. Are you prepared to educate yourself? Learn about the industry. Do research and attend shows. Research the show before you go and see whom the important people are. Approach them, don't just stand there looking pretty, you're not the only pretty one there.
6. Can you act in a professional manner? This covers everything you do especially your reputation. This is a business. Whenever you do a shoot you may ask for references afterwards. Your conduct, punctuality, attitude etc, are all considered before they will give you a glowing reference.
These, and many more questions you are going to be asking yourself. Before your dream of becoming a top fitness model becomes a reality?
Fitness modeling is not for everyone. Find out if you have what it takes, and learn all the steps needed to break into this competitive industry and set yourself apart from others just like you.
Invest and educate yourself about the fitness model business. You can do this by learning the techniques, tips, tools, tricks that will get you noticed and keep your face in front of the people who matter the most to your success. The agents, the fitness agency, photographers, magazine executives. Then there's the marketing specialist within the various health and fitness product lines.
There are dangers that you need to protect yourself from.
Don't reinvent the wheel learn from the mistakes of others. Breaking into the fitness modeling industry appears more difficult than it is. Most people use too much energy and effort because they are doing it wrong. Then they just give up because they get discouraged and think they will never get there.
Working for athletic equipment companies, getting shoots for glossy magazines, modeling fitness clothing. It's all possible if you know the right steps to take. And taking the the right steps is the edge you need that will make you special and set you apart from all the other pretty faces.

Living a healthy lifestyle is a lot more than a hobbyist pursuit. There are a loads of physical and mental benefits that can derive from regular exercise and proper diet. The more rigid and committed one is to a proper diet and exercise regiment, the larger the physical and mental benefits will be.
Fitness models that built great glutes

Of the physical advantages, not only will the person gain an increase in a positive outward, external look or appearance, but the individual will also gain the added advantage of increased healthy cardiovascular conditioning. In the society of today, most people seem to put the greatest emphasis on the outward physical appearance. This is why
fitness models are revered figures in popular culture.
Brief Profiles Of Some Well Known Fitness Models
There are lots of well trained individuals all over the world that can be classified as fitness models, because they are viewed as role-models for people that value fitness and want to be fit themselves. Very few of these people however, are famous or celebrities. But there are some famous fitness models and
professional body builders like for example
Arnold Schwarzenegger – Probably the most famous bodybuilder of all time is Arnold Schwarzenegger. He was born in Austria in 1947, and Arnold's bodybuilding career began in the 1960's and progressed to earn him five Mr. Universe titles, seven Mr. Olympia awards, as well as numerous other bodybuilding and power-lifting competitions. This of course led to his career as an actor and eventually to the position of governor on California.
Tevita Aholelei – Tevita is a champion of International Federation of Bodybuilders (IFBB). He was born in south Fiji in the Kingdom of Tonga. Therefore he is also known as the "Stone of Tonga". He started competing in bodybuilding competitions in 1997. Tevita has lots of bodybuilding championships under his belt. He currently lives in California with his wife and children. Tevita served in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years and was a soldier in the Operation Desert Storm in Iraq in 1991.
Lora Ottenad – Lora Ottenad is a world famous and very competitive female bodybuilder. She was born in Seattle, Washington in 1964. Lora is tall; 5'8" and she competes at a weight of 175 pounds. She earned her pro card in 2006 when she won the overall title at nationals. Lora made her pro debut in 2007 and was ranked as number 11 in the Ms. International competition.
Rachel McLish – Rachel McLish is a retired female bodybuilder who was born in Texas in 1955. She had a thread of wins in the 1980's. She also appeared in many movies during the 1980's and 1990's. She has won the Ms. Olympia contest twice. (one of the
nicest glutes you will ever see)
Erika Geisen – Erika Geisen is also a retired female bodybuilder and fitness model from Australia. She won the Ms. International contest in 1986 and she retired two year later.
Mark James Dugdale – Mark, born in 1974 is a professional bodybuilder who started competing in 1997 and has been placing in bodybuilding competitions since. He currently lives in USA.
The impact that
fitness models inspire can have on the average person is that of a role model. While the average individual may not be able to achieve such a look, the person can use a fitness model as inspiration to engage in a program designed to get them into better shape. As such, much of the psycho-babble with regard to the negative images models project is somewhat untrue.

Bodybuilding Products That SHOULD Be Invented
By Nick Nilsson

Maybe one day a
Fitness Trainer will fill in these "important" gaps in the bodybuilding product world. Enjoy a humorous look at products that will probably never grace any store shelves but really should.
If you've been training with a
fitness trainer for any length of time, you know there are certain shortcomings in the products that are available at the moment. The following is a list of products that I think someone someone should invent. I think a person could make a million dollars with these ideas!
1. The Fitness Trainer Gasless Protein Shake
If you're familiar with the gastric rumblings that occur soon after taking a big protein shake, you know how popular this item would be. It will also keep those pesky Environmental Protection Agency people off your back with their "industrial emissions violation" warnings.
2. The Fitness Trainer Bench Press Air Bag Shirt
For the bouncing bencher...helps prevent rib crackage. The air bag inflates automatically when it detects terminal velocity on the bar.
3. The Fitness Trainer Sweat Alarm
Most useful in a commercial gym, simply attach one of these to each machine. When the electrodes detect sweat left on a machine after a person is done and that person starts to walk away, a loud alarm goes off and pepper sprays them.
4. The Fitness Trainer Self-Cleaning Spit Mirror
This mirror is most useful in front of the squat rack. When a set is done, sensors determine the amount of spit that has appeared on the mirror then sends a squirt of cleaner and a squeegee down the surface.
5. The Fitness Trainer Lister-prot-ine
A combination of Listerine mouth wash and protein powder, this supplement leaves your mouthy minty fresh instead of tasting like nasty rotten milk. Your friends and loved ones will thank you for it!
6. The Smart-A** Weight Belt For The Dumb-A** Fitness Trainer With Optional Shock Attachment
Simply put on this belt and sensors with pre-recorded messages tell you in no uncertain terms when you're doing something stupid that you're going to hurt yourself with. The optional shock attachment works like the invisible fence shock collar you put on a dog to keep in in the yard. When you break form, the belt tells you what it thinks of you then sends a sharp shock up your spine. You'll never round your back over when doing squats again!
7. The Timer-Spray Fountain With Backwash Detector
Tired of people taking way too long at the water fountain when there's a line? Tired of people backwashing into it? Fix that with the Timer-Spray Fountain with Backwash Detector. If a person takes too long or if the fountain detects backwash, a spray of water shoots out at the person to make it look like they wet their pants. Curbs annoying behavior very rapidly!
8. The Over Fragranced/B.O. Bio-hazard Shower
This
fitness training machine operates much like a metal detector/electronic sniffer. As people leave the changeroom, the machine determines whether they're wearing too much cologne or perfume, if they've got rampant B.O. (or Beyond B.O.), or some eye-watering combination of both. Powerful jets of water immediately rinse the excess aroma away.
9. The Fitness Trainer Barbell Curl Rack
This unique rack gives the barbell curlers an option instead of hogging the squat rack. Because it's just too hard to pick up that dang heavy bar all the way from the floor...
10. The Fitness Trainer Ego Alert Siren
This clip-on attachment for barbells (most useful in the bench press) automatically detects the speed of the bar on the way down. If the downward velocity exceeds a certain pre-set limit, the Ego Alert automatically goes off, alerting everyone in the immediate 10 square mile radius that you're trying to use more weight than you should be. Also available: optional laugh track to discourage further Alerts.
11. Chicken Leg Filler Pants
Designed for those sporting the always trendy "riding-a-chicken" look, these pants for the "
upper-body-only" fitness trainer are stuffed with high-density foam padding to make your legs look proportioned to the rest of your body. Great for fending off attack dogs, too.
12. The Fitness Trainers GPS Workout Enforcer
This gadget utilizes Global Positioning satellites and beacons attached to the equipment in your fitness studio to track your location in the fitness studio and remind you when you've been neglecting certain tiny, little nuisance bodyparts such as your entire lower body.
---
If you do happen to take any of the ideas and run with them, you're certainly welcome to share the proceeds!

With all the bogus information floating around in the bodybuilding world when it comes to the topic of
building muscle in Frisco, and sometimes it can be extremely hard to find a good place to start. If you’re a beginner looking for some basic body building guidelines to follow in the gym, or at home, the following
8 Frisco Fitness strategies for maximum muscle gains is a great place to start.

8 Frisco Personal Trainer, Proven Strategies for Maximum Gains
1) Train With Weights and Focus On Compound, Free Weight Movements.
If you want to make solid, noteworthy
gains in muscle size in Frisco Tx, and strength, you absolutely must train with free weights and focus on basic, compound exercises. A compound exercise is any lift that stimulates more than one muscle group at a time. Examples of these lifts that you can perform in the Frisco Personal Training Studio are the
squat, deadlift, bench press, chin up, barbell row, overhead press, dip and lunge. Compound movements allow you to handle the most weight and will stimulate the greatest amount of total muscle fibers.
2) Be Prepared To Train Hard in Frisco Texas.
One of the biggest factors that separates those who make modest gains in Frisco from those who make serious gains is their level of training intensity. In order to stimulate your muscle fibers to their utmost potential, you must be willing to take every set you perform in the gym to the point of muscular failure.
Muscular Failure: The point at which no further repetitions can be completed using proper form.
Sub-maximal training intensity will leave you with sub-maximal results, plain and simple.
3) Track Your Progress In The Dallas Gym's From Week To Week.
Our bodies build
muscle because of an adaptive response to the environment. When you go to the gym, in Dallas, Plano or Frisco, next time break down your
muscle fibers by training with weights. Your body senses this as a potential threat to its survival and will react accordingly by rebuilding the damaged fibers larger and stronger in order to protect against any possible future threat. Therefore, in order to make continual gains in
muscle size and strength, you must always focus on progressing in the gym from week to week. This could mean performing 1 or 2 more reps for each exercise or adding more weight to the bar. Keep a detailed training log to track your progress as your strength increases over time.
4) Avoid Overtraining.
Overtraining is your number one enemy when it comes to building muscle size and strength. When most people begin a Frisco workout program, they are stuck with the misguided notion that more is better. They naturally assume that the more time they spend in the gym, the better results they will achieve. When it comes to building muscle, nothing could be farther from the truth! If you spend too much time in the gym, you will actually take yourself farther away from your goals rather than closer to them. Remember, your muscles do not grow in the gym; they grow out of the gym, while you are resting and eating. Recovery is absolutely vital to the muscle growth process. If you don't provide your body with the proper recovery time in between workouts, your muscles will never have a chance to grow.
5) Eat More Frequently.
The main area where most people fail miserably on their muscle-building mission is on the all-too important task of proper nutrition. Training with weights is only half of the equation! You break down your muscle fibers in the gym, but if you don't provide your body with the proper nutrients at the proper times, the muscle growth process will be next to impossible. You should be eating anywhere from 5-7 meals per day, spaced every 2-3 hours in order to keep your body in an anabolic, muscle-building state at all times. Each meal should consist of high quality protein and complex carbohydrates.
6) Increase Your Protein Intake.
Of the 3 major nutrients (protein, carbohydrates and fats) protein is without a doubt the most important for those who are looking to gain muscle size and strength. Protein is found in literally every single one of the 30 trillion cells that your body is made up of and its main role is to build and repair body tissues. Without sufficient protein intake, it will be physically impossible for your body to synthesize a significant amount of lean muscle mass. If your body were a house, think of protein as the bricks. A general guideline is to consume 1-1.5 grams of protein per pound of body weight each day from high quality sources such as fish, poultry, eggs, beef, milk, peanut butter and cottage cheese.
7) Increase Your Water Intake.
If you want a simple, easy and highly effective way to maximize your muscle gains, drinking more water is it. Water plays so many vital roles in the body and its importance cannot be overstated. In fact, your muscles alone are made up of 70% water! Not only will drinking more water cause your muscles to appear fuller and more vascular, but it will also increase your strength as well. Research has shown that merely a 3-4% drop in your body's water levels can impact muscle contractions by 10-20%! Aim to consume 0.6 ounces for every pound of bodyweight each day for optimal gains.
8) Be Consistent!
Consistency is everything. Those who make the greatest gains in muscular size and strength are the ones who are able to implement the proper techniques on a highly consistent basis. Simply knowing is not enough, you must apply!
Building muscle is a result of the cumulative effect of small steps. Sure, performing 1 extra rep on your bench press will not make a huge difference to your overall results, and neither will consuming a single meal. However, over the long haul, all of those extra reps you perform and all of those small meals you consume will decide your overall success. If you work hard and complete all of your muscle-building tasks in a consistent fashion, all of those individual steps will equate to massive gains in overall size and strength.

Escape the Fat-Free Diet Trap
By Staff Writer
Since the “fat-free craze” began, statistics show we have grown fatter and fatter.
Just because a food is fat-free diet doesn’t mean it’s calorie-free. Get up to speed on “good fats” and lose the fat from your body, not your diet.
Today, supermarket shelves are packed with foods that call to dieters with the words “FAT-FREE.” But as conscientious weight watchers load up their shopping carts with fat-free foods week after week, many discover this alarming fact: their weight is going up!
Getting fat on fat-free
Since the beginning of the “fat-free craze,” statistics show Americans have grown fatter and fatter. Although we’ve been taught to think of fat as the culprit in the weight-loss battle, clearly this is only part of the whole diet picture. Just because a food is fat-free doesn’t mean it’s calorie-free. Many fat-free foods are actually very high in sugar and carbohydrate calories. And these calories, when eaten in excess, become converted into the one thing we’ve been taught to avoid–fat!
Lose the fat from your body, not your diet ironically, in order to burn fat and lose weight you need a certain amount of good quality fat. That’s why the ShapeWorks® Weight-Management Programstresses the importance of a well-balanced diet that includes enough “good fats,” such as those found in fish and olive oil, together with Herbalife’s highly nutritious meal replacement shakes and snacks.
By avoiding the fat-free craze and giving your body the complete nourishment it needs with Herbalife’s Cellular Nutrition supplements and weight-management products, you’ll lose weight steadily and feel healthier along the way.
